HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Thank you to all the girls in doing a terrific job in cleaning their rooms before leaving for the Thanksgiving Holiday break.  The dorm looks very good and the housekeeping staff was so appreciative of all our efforts and hard work.  Thank You!!

Wednesday nights are always a tough time for everyone to settle in and get going on work. Most of the time the girls are coming home from a long day after having classes in the morning and a game (sometimes 2 hours away) in the afternoon. They're tired, they're sometimes hungry, and sometimes injured. BUT, somehow they always manage to have enough energy to bounce around the common room before finally getting down to business. When they do - they're awesome. I have never worked in a dorm that is this quiet!!

Here's a photo of Kyra and Caroline working on some math. Kyra had already taken Algebra 2 and offered to help out Caroline because she was all done with her other homework. THIS is why I love Rice House!!

Welcome to the Rice House blog!

Yahooooo!  We are up and running.   The reason for this blog is to try to keep Rice House girls, parents and family updated about what is happening here at school.  I will be updating this blog along with the proctors from Rice.  Only three days till Thanksgiving Break!!
